- The main window of Lyrics Editor Pro is divided into two parts: Album Explorer and editor window. Album Explorer explores all the common information on lyrics document being edited: artist name, album title, album release date, songs list, album cover picture/logo, and notes. This information is editable together with lyrics text in the editor window as well.

- Since Lyrics Editor Pro uses HTML as base format for lyrics documents, there are a number of HTML-specific properties that define document's interface (look & feel & hear), and also enable specifying additional descriptive tags making your lyrics document easy to be found by certain search-engines.

- Lyrics Editor Pro can import/export lyrics texts from/to many common formats, such as HTML, RTF, and ANSI/OEM text. By importing into existing lyrics document Lyrics Editor Pro performs formatting of inserted text automatically.

- Found under File/New From CDDB... the CDDB Discoverer lets you to create a new lyrics document based on album information (artist name, album title, date, picture, songs list, etc.) queried from one of the existing local CDDBs: DeluxeCD's database, CD Player's ini-file, or WinAMP's local CDDB. The CDDB Discovery module must be present for this feature to be enabled.
